This course has been developed to provide Therapists and other Practitioners with a convenient method of gaining the necessary Grade 5 endorsed learning needed to offer Laser & IPL treatments for vascular lesions in accordance with the Health Education England (HEE) training guidelines.
Although the information presented in this course is brief, it requires learners to not only pass the online assessment but also to create an online portfolio of 20 client treatments. This is in line with the recommendations of the HEE /JCCP whose training report suggests that proof of carrying out this number of successful treatments implies/supports the view that the learner has demonstrated appropriate skills

Course Entry Requirements
It is a pre-requisite of this course that users must already have successfully completed 5 important prior courses:-
- Intermed’s Grade 3 “Access Course for Laser, IPL & LED Skin & Hair Treatments” (or a Level 3 Beauty Therapy, Medical or Scientific Qualification)
- The “Core of Knowledge” course.
- Grade 4 “Anatomy & Physiology for Aesthetic Laser and IPL Practitioners” course.
- Intermed’s Grade 4 “Laser & IPL Hair Growth Reduction & Skin Rejuvenation Treatments” (or similar).
- “Laser or IPL Operator Training” from the manufacturer or supplier of their specific equipment.
