This course is aimed at individuals based in Salons, Clinics, Pharmacies, Jewellery retail outlets, Tattoo/Piercing studios, etc., that wish to undertake an endorsed Grade 4 course for carrying out Ear & Nose piercings using the Inverness Safe Pierce system.
This course is specific to the use of the Inverness piercing system, as this device is considered to be the safest method of piercing the ear and nose – it has FDA approval as a medical device. Unlike most other piercing systems, the piercing earring or nose stud is not fired through the tissues using a spring loaded mechanism but instead uses a gentle manual system. Additionally, the earrings and nose studs are completely enclosed providing a ‘no-touch’ sterile method of placement. The earrings also have a safety back that prevents damage and discomfort which could otherwise be caused by a sharp earring post.
